This is a post where some scenarios for things happening in Yosuke's AU happen. All gathered into one entry.

Mostly things with Naoto, but maybe some other characters later if I can rope others into playing with me

The Estate has always been open to the Investigation Team after the case. Naoto's made her home a haven for everyone to come, relax, and just be able to be themselves no matter what's going on outside. This particular night, she'd gone to Naoki's shop before coming home, bringing as many different bottles of alcohol as she could fit on the back of her motorcycle. It's been a long week of everything, and for whatever reason, things just haven't been going right. A few drinks will help everyone relax. Or something.

After school was finally over for the day, Yosuke had decided to walk Naoto home. It had become a rather normal routine for them and he sure enjoyed every extra moment he could have with Naoto.

Unlike normal, Yosuke wasn't wearing his headphones. The wire had broken in the last battle and while he didn't feel as comfortable without them, it would have felt stupid to carry headphones you can't even use around.

Not that he had time to think about details like that when he had a nice conversation going on.

"So Satonaka answered "Steak" for the question. Imagine how embarrassed I was for laughing at her, when she was actually right..."

Walking home with him had become the highlight of Naoto's days, a time that she does not feel like she has to be anyone or anything in particular, and she can just be with him.

It had been odd when she saw him without his headphones for the first time the day before. It was as if an integral part of him was completely gone, and that gave her an idea.

For now, however, she just smiles up at him, a rare comfortable smile. "That sounds like the sort of answer you would give when you do not know the answer. It was quite the luck."

It feels incredibly good to see Naoto smile like she does. Lately, it had seem like she's smiling to him like that more often. At least she could relax with him, which was good and... she really looked beautiful when she smiled.

"I know right? She gets lucky like that sometimes. It's never worked for me." Last year answering questions had been easier with Souji giving him right answers when he dozed off. Though he has tried to improve being more attentive in class. Some days he was just too tired to pay attention.

"Oh, right. They added a new dish to Aiya's menu. We should try it sometime."

Naoto shakes her head, an amused expression on her face. "Sometimes I wish I had her instincts and luck. It seems that she is able to just... find solutions to things even when there's no real reason to make that logical leap."

As he mentions Aiya, she nods cheerfully. "That sounds wonderful. Whenever you would like to, I would be interested. I do not have much to do other than homework this week."

For once, she's not on a case. Thankfully.

"She's been the real wild card in the investigation, that's for sure. Who knows, maybe she'll even solve the mystery we're in the minute she's able to come with us", Yosuke said with a joking voice and a wink, even if he's half-serious. Chie was good at making guesses that... were right.

Yosuke nods with a smile. "Maybe we can go tomorrow then. I have a free day from work tomorrow too."

Naoto laughs. "I would not be surprised if she were to surpass me in her instincts." She herself has careful consideration, but Chie has instinct. Both important, but also both different.

She smiles softly and nods, pulling on the brim of her hat on instinct. "Excellent. We can meet after school and walk over together."

"I'll be counting on you more anyway, since your thought progress is more logical than hers."

Yosuke smiled before stopping by the gates of Naoto's house. They were already here... that's sort of disappointing. He really wouldn't want to leave her company just yet... but at the same time he didn't want to make her stay out with him for too long.

"Well... here we are again."

She blushes just a bit. "I do what I can. This is what I do, after all."

A pause, and she takes a breath. The last thing she wants to do is go inside without him, but she's not entirely certain if he would want or feel comfortable coming in.

"Yeah. We are. Um."

Yosuke knows that by now there's no need for him to say things like 'You have us' since he knows she's already aware of that. She wasn't alone and didn't need to solve the whole case by herself.

Though because there wasn't a need to say something like that, silence falls and Yosuke is unsure of what to say. Well, he knows what he wants to say but he's not... sure if he should.

"Uhm... yeah I guess I should..." 'Go home' is what he probably should say, but the words don't just come out. Instead he blushes and falls silent again for a while before nodding to himself.

This is a good chance to say something. They're alone, the atmosphere is great. If he'd get rejected, he'd recover and they continued to be friends...!

"Naoto, there's something I want to say to you."

Naoto blinks for a moment, looking nervous, before taking a breath. "What is it, Senpai? You can tell me anything, you know."

She has a sinking feeling that she's being told to go away.

Yosuke had determination to say the words, but it takes a few long moments to gather up the actual courage to speak them out loud. It's probably not very assuring to see him nervously shifting his balance from foot to foot.

"I... uh... the thing is..."

Why was it so difficult? It wasn't a bad thing to say. A little embarrassing, but not bad. Just get it out. Say it, Yosuke. Say the words.

"I... I really, really like you Naoto. Willyougooutwithme?"

There. There he said it. Clumsily but he at least said it.

Her expression is worried, but her eyes widen at his confession, and she gasps a bit. Of all of the things she expected, that particular confession was not one of them. She swallows, unable to tear her eyes away from him for a moment, and then she reaches into her bag and pulls out a pair of headphones with a re-enforced cord.

Gently, she stands on her tip toes and puts them around his neck, tucking the cord into his shirt pocket like usual.

"I like you as well, Senpai. I would very much to go out with you."
