How about Hikaru, Caught in the Rain, 2-1-8?
Adela's practically sprinting when the downpour really starts, catching her breath underneath a big tree in the park she'd been walking through. It had become grey too quickly and soon enough she was soaked to the skin. She'd been planning to meet friends in town, maybe hang out with Hikaru, maybe show him more muggle things about London, but now...
... Where even is Hikaru anyway? Absently she looks around, though when some leaves above give way and further soak Adela she can't help the high yelp that leaves her because that is cold! ]

If only he had an umbrella - magical or not - then it would be less of a pain. Yet, here he was - sporting a wet white t-shirt and uncomfortably wet jeans. Muggles and their clothes, to be honest.
Once he sees the familiar red hair, he rushes over.]
Hey...
[He looks like a wet dog.]

[ Considering that Adela just got soaked, she really has no room to talk. She smiles at seeing him though, straightening and scratching her cheek. ]
Sorry, should've warned you. Sometimes it gets like this... Want to find a cafe or something to wait out the rain?
Eli
When they arrive, the beach is moderately populated -- far less than the public beaches, but not so little as to appear nearly deserted. It was mostly families.
Athrun sets down the beach chairs and the umbrella that he had been carrying and begins to set them up.]
I'd say this is a good spot. Seem all right to you?

Perfect. [She says with a smile before looking at the nearby changing rooms.] Just a minute... I'll go change into my swimsuit.

[Meanwhile, Athrun simply takes his shirt off. He had worn his swimming trunks to the beach. He also takes his sandals off and takes a seat in his beach chair, waiting for Eli to return.]
this has been a spam of Eli for you, I hope you have enjoyed
Sorry for the wait.
I most definitely have!
No problem! It, um. It wasn't long.
[He will immediately collapse into his chair, though he lands a bit hard and it sinks a slight bit into the sand.]
Hikaru Hitachiin because whee~ also forward dating a little.
It was a few days since classes started up and, for that Saturday, Adela was just finishing up the start-of-the-year team practice for existing members. It didn't take long for her to shower and put her gear away after the morning practice, leaving her fresh with her gloves and broom before she tried to find her other friends. It was great that Rin was getting better with Quidditch all the time too, refreshing that she finally had at least one friend her own age...!
She hadn't really gotten the chance to see Hikaru yet though. She couldn't help smiling at the thought, a little pink but still pleased with life as she started to wander and look for him. It was too much trouble to put her broom and gloves away for the moment if Hikaru wasn't in Slytherin's common room, but where was he?

It was much easier when he just cared about Kaoru. Having all these extra feelings for other people were mostly making him feel weird and rather upset. Happy, too, when given the chance... but right now he was miserable.

It took her probably too long to find him outside, and Adela sighed in relief before grinning and waving to him. After a beat she ran up to him, making to put her broom down and seat herself next to him...
... And finally getting a look at his face. Her smile faded and she seemed more surprised than anything else, maybe even concerned.
"You all right?"
Eli, Hanayo, Maki, or Nozomi -- your choice!
The enemy had caught Athrun's squadron by surprise, and three of his squadmates were shot down in the ambush. Athrun managed to save the others as well as himself, but every loss of human life in service alongside him takes its toll upon his psyche.
The next day, Athrun had reported to work as usual, but his quality of work and his self-discipline were well below his usual standard. He was checked out by the military psychologist, who refused to clear him to continue working for the next three days. So Athrun was sent home.
When he got home, he sent a brief text message to his girlfriend -- all it said was that he was sent home and wouldn't be allowed to return to work for the rest of the work week. Normally he would keep these things to himself, but he believed that his other half deserved to know what kinds of problems he was having. In the meantime, he sits at home, blankly flipping through channels on television, trying in vain to find something to keep his mind busy.]
were you expecting someone other than Eli~
The journey from work to home feels like it takes ages, but once she finally exists her managers' car and says goodbye to him, she walks with quick steps to the apartment and walks in. Once there, she heads to the living room and looks at Athrun, panting just slightly.]
Athrun...
:-P
Eli? I thought you had plans. You didn't...cancel them, did you?
no subject
Of course I did. You're lot more important than those shoots will ever be.
no subject
I'm very happy you feel that way, but at the same time, well...I don't want to derail your career.
