[Currently, Athrun is resting at home while recuperating from an injury. It's the first time he's gotten injured at work since the war ended. He keeps insisting it's not bad, but of course, Eli knows better.

Athrun is lying on the couch in the living room when Eli returns. His eyes are closed, and his arm is draped over them. He seems to be sleeping lightly, as the TV drones on from its position on the wall. It's not often he watches TV these days; he prefers to read, work out, or surf the internet. But since he's stuck at home, there's not much he can do.

Eli coming home didn't wake him up, though. Perhaps another method? Say...a kiss?]

[Before Eli gets over to Athrun, she'll put away the groceries and medicine she brought with her. If opening the door didn't wake him up, that won't likely do it either, especially since Eli's in the kitchen.

Once she's done, she'll walk over to Athrun and leans down to first gentle pet his hair and then give him a kiss.]

[Athrun's eyes open, blinking several times in rapid succession. It takes him a few seconds to register what he's feeling. When he realizes it's Eli kissing him, he kisses back.

He'll speak once they break apart.]

Hey. I didn't hear you come in.

[At least he's smiling, though. Seeing Eli puts him in good spirits, and being kissed by her only adds to that.]</small.

Hey.

[She continues to pet his hair a little before touching his face gently. Both for affection and to check if he has a fever, just in case.]

You were quite fast asleep. How are you feeling? Is there anything you need?

[Athrun remains still, enjoying the gentle touches of Eli's fingers and palms on his face. Fortunately, his temperature feels normal.]

Ah...yeah. I must have dozed off while watching the TV.

[He thinks for a moment before answering Eli's question.]

I feel...OK, I guess. Relatively speaking. A little hungry.

But I'd also like to just have you with me here for a while, if that's all right.

[Eli smiles, taking his hand into hers while still keeping her other hand near his face.]

Of course. You don't even need to ask...
