I want to try out Sokka before apping him to a game. We can go either with canon shenans, some random AU/jamjar shenanigans or maybe even Avalon setting as he has an identity crisis over being basically the Avatar.

[Some kind of a gaming day with all kinds of different board games and other games between friends and their friends and whoever else happens to be there. So, right now, Madoka is sitting on the opposite side of the table and there's a board game called 5 Seconds set up between them.]

Umm, well 5 seconds to name 3 things doesn't sound impossible if the topics are easy, right? Okay, here's the first one...

[She raises a card, smiles a little and looks at him before she reads what it says.]

Name 3 ice cream flavors.

[And she sets the timer on.]

Heh, that's easy! Vanilla, Chocolate and... [Uh.] Blueberry!

[Nailed it, he hits the timer to stop it just in time. Just barely in time. What was that about easy?]

Okay. Next one. [He takes a card, hand ready on the timer to set it off.]

I suppose wishing to be alone unbothered by scum in a foreign land was too much to ask.

[ The princess crosses her arms over her chest as she gives him a look over, perturbed that she couldn't escape the "Gaang" even across worlds. She keeps her distance, knowing that it was only a matter of time before either of them made the decision to lunge at the other-- there was no reason to be hostile, but she couldn't help herself. ]

[ Zuko's never been more relieved to hang out with Sokka. Relief. That's not typical. But sorely appreciated in this moment, so many galaxies away from the Boiling Rock and everything they'd faced together outside those prison walls since. Another fucking planet? No exception when it comes to "life-changing field trips." However, the plot twist... They're both the Avatar now, and Zuko's brain has been splitting over this with far more scrutiny than Sokka's, because breaking his own brain is what Zuko does best. In this moment, he's mentally torturing himself over some waterbending bull shit. He's gotten his firebending back downpat, but this shit? Less frustrating than losing his firebending in the first place, but pretty fucking frustrating, still! Whatever water he's trying to conjure, he's not excelling. Manipulating water outside them was different, seemed easier, if he could do even that beyond the pitiful splashes he'd like to call small waves. So far the most damage he's done is making a mess in his bathroom trying to practice with stupid little tricks and thus slipping in the shower; don't try this at home, kids. Trying and failing for the billionth time to produce this magic from within himself in front of Sokka was possibly more humiliating than that, though, as his frustration mounts. Beads of magical water pill up in his hands, but his inner heat radiates stronger than his inner waves... it really just has the effect of seeming Zuko has very sweaty palms. As that thought hits him, it's the final straw, and he lets out an aggravated snarl, puffs of steam rising off him in fury as his hard work dissipates into thin air. ]

Why can't I do it?! I hate this!
