[The morning routine was over, and both Shirou and Sayaka had worked up an appetite from their exercising. There was just enough time for breakfast before it was time for them to head their separate ways as they went to school.

That was why Shirou was laying two plates down on the table. This morning, he had decided to cook a Western breakfast -- scrambled egg, sausage, and buttered toast with milk -- so that it would stick with them better until it was time for lunch.

The meal looked delicious, smelled delicious, and tasted delicious.]

Okay, let's eat!

[Morning work-outs were the best way to start a day. It made Sayaka feel a lot more energetic and ready for the day.

What's better - she could also enjoy a delicious breakfast right after the training. This was truly a morning to enjoy.]

Ahh, this looks perfect!

[Shirou sits down and spears a piece of sausage with his fork.]

Perfect? I don't think I've ever heard someone describe mornings here as perfect.

Really? Well it feels like to that to me. [She says while she's enjoying the first bites of her food.]

I mean, a good work out in the morning and a delicious breakfast after - and someone nice to share it with. What else could one hope for.

Heh, you do have a point.

I'm not used to exercising with someone else, so this is a nice, fresh change of pace for me.

It must have been lonely for you... but at least it won't be like that now.

[ It felt like a dream, but it wasn't -- it was reality. He was healed. He could play the violin again after so long. Maybe certain things were far from his mind right now, like -- relationships, even general friendships with others -- but he was just so into the idea of getting back to his normal life that he was actually more content than he thought was possible, now. It was an exhilarating feeling, even if one he mostly kept contained. ]

[ And now he's standing inside the music store, holding a new CD in his hands for the first time in a while. ]

[ ...It's a different, nicer feeling he has, compared to when she brought him CDs, but he's vaguely reminded of those times despite himself. Where has that girl been lately, anyway? Suddenly looking up, he spotted someone out of the corner of his eye -- ]

...Sayaka--?

[To be perfectly honest, Sayaka had seen Kyosuke out in the streets so she had kind of followed him to the music store. She had had the intentions of visiting the place herself, but seeing her crush walk in there first had made her want to go there even more.

Even though she was slightly nervous to talk with him. She still hadn't really told him how she felt and it had already been quite some time since he'd been released from the hospital.

Maybe it would have been best to just let him be-

Aww snap! He noticed her. Sayaka smiled sheepisly and let a nervous laugh.]

Y-Yo Kyosuke.

[violino]

...It's been a while since I've seen you.

[ He'll give a smile as he turns to face her. ]

I was looking for new CDs...

[ He trails off, turning back to the selection, pondering now. Despite not thinking of Sayaka lately, the last few times he had seen her -- hadn't he been rather rude towards her? At least, he didn't really speak much to her... Well, it wasn't really either of their faults, but... he felt just a tiny bit guilty now. But how should he apologize in a way that was appropriate? -- Wait. ...He was in a music store. ]

-- Sayaka. You always had an eye for good music...


Is there anything in particular you've wanted from this store, lately?

It's good to see you're better. [She smiles. It had been hard to see Kyosuke down, so it was a relief to see him out and doing things.]

Eh... me? Well...

[She looked around for a bit before seeing the one CD she had looked at the last time she had been here. She showed it to Kyosuke.]

This is pretty good.

[violino]

[ Kyosuke looks down at it, curious and intrigued. He surprisingly lights up as he sees the artist's name. ]

You're right...! This... is a very good one.

[ Looking back at his other CD now, then that one -- ]

I'll get both of these, and you can have that one.

[herwish]

[It was nice seeing Sayaka again. What made it even better was that she was happy and the fact that she had no clue about her future. Madoka wasn't going to tell her anything about it. She didn't have to as she was going to change it, after all. The girls could be happy again and she'd be always watching over them, never ever letting them to lose hope and drown into despair. It'd work, Madoka wouldn't let anyone's life go to waste this time.

It really was just like one their normal days, walking home from school in sunshine and hearing her talk about everything random. Just listening to her voice made the pinkhaired girl happy.]

Ne, Sayaka-chan... Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. I guess you'll be busy.



[OOC: Yeah, I don't really care about logic here. Let's just assume they can be together in Mitakihara from their canon points, either in a dream or reality.]

Hmm? [Sayaka look at Madoka with a puzzled expression. The statement didn't quite register in his mind right away.

... but then it hit her.]

-- I completely forgot! I haven't made preparations at all!

[She's offering a supportive and very reassuring smile. "It'll go f--"]

[She never gets to say that line, at least not right now. Never is a too big word.]

[wait, isn't V Day kind of personal? Whatever, she can still say it.]

[Sayaka is silent for a moment before looking all confident in herself and smirking.]

Did you really think I would not be prepared? Oh, Madoka you're so easily deceived...

[Then her smirk goes out like a light.]

... is what I'd like to say, but reality is harsh.

[Then a sheepish, awkward grin.]

Do you know how to make chocolate...?

[For a moment Madoka really thinks that Sayaka-chan is indeed prepared for it.

...Oh, she's not. Madoka smiles sheepishly and laughs a bit at the question. Funny you should mention it.]

I do~! I probably don't remember all the details, but we could go to my home to either make them or I'll give you my notes about them there.

[If she wants to make them alone, that is.]

[Initially, Sayaka had come over to spend time with Yunoa, Asemu's younger sister. However, Yunoa was still at school, partaking in practice with the tennis club. Somehow, due to being the only one at home, Asemu found himself helping Sayaka with her algebra homework. With his help, they were able to sail right through it.]

So, yeah, always remember. What you do to one side of the equation, you have to do to the other.

[As much as she would have liked to meet up with Yunoa, Sayaka is also happy for the fact that Asemu was willing to help her with her math problems.]

Roger. I can't believe I didn't think of something so simple, haha...

Nah, it happens all the time. It sounds simple, but people don't realize they should do it until they've goofed a few times or had a half-decent teacher.
