[After stories were completed and everyone got a chance to return home from Index, Jean somehow ended up not going the right way. Instead he was in a unknown place to him, buzzing with people everywhere, dressed up in his regular army clothes which... gave him looks. Was this another Story they had to save, after all? But he wasn't even Beast anymore.

The place didn't look like it came from a storybook, even. There were tall buildings and all sort of machines (...?) he didn't understand at all. It was really a weird place to be stuck in.

Whispers of maybe Jean being something called a "cosplayer" were all around and he just really wanted to get out of the center of attention.]

[It didn't take too long to find Sumeragi at a bar. Really, it was a miracle she ever left one, once she found a nice place that just let her drink her worries away. Well, it wasn't really drinking her worries away, just drowning them temporarily. Sometimes even that didn't work so she just drank because being sober was too much to deal with.

It was really the only way for her to cope with the loss of even more people. Her team. Her friends. Losing the Celestial Being because her plans weren't good enough. Because they weren't strong enough. On top of other losses she's encountered in her life, it was too much.]

[How many had she already drunk? She's not even sure, but getting into a small debt for drinks wasn't too bad.]
