Voice Testing | Kuroko no Basuke
This is an entry where you can help me voice test different character from Kuroko no Basuke. I can work with both brackets and prose.

For Kasamatsu
Kise was definitely hungry for victory after all the losses. His first year with the Kaijo basketball team was a hard and bruising one, but one that he didn't regret in general. There were definitely a lot of things that he would have liked to be different, but there were also other things he'd like to keep as they were. Like how he came to love his team and finally became Kaijo's Kise. Both of which wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the tough love and unshakable belief doled out by a certain grumpy Captain.
It didn't take long for Kise to miss Kasamatsu. It was hard going from seeing him everyday at practice to not seeing him at all most days. Of course he understood why, his upperclassman was preparing for his entrance exams among other things and he had resigned from the team, but still. While Kise had done a lot of growing up the past year, he was still childish and immature in a lot of ways. Selfish as well, so it didn't bother him overly much to send Kasamatsu a text one afternoon after classes:
Kasamatsu-senpaaaaaiiiii!!!! Are you busy? Take a break! Let's get some okonomiyaki!!! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
He figured if Kasamatsu didn't respond, he could always text again, and if Kasamatsu was too busy to spend time with him then he could also tell him. Let it not be said that Kise wasn't understanding when he had reason to be.
But he really did miss his grumpy senpai so he hoped the other would agree to spending a bit of time with him before they actually couldn't anymore.
sorry for the late
When Kise's text came just when Kasamatsu finished with his English assignments. He actually smiled at that, even if his reply to the text was just:
Sure. I have a few hours to spare.
For Aomine
Seeing the familiar buildings and the gates of his middle school gave him a sense of nostalgia. He tried his best not to dwell on the sadder, harder memories, instead focusing on the happier, simpler times: of learning basketball, going for ice cream after practice, going home together with everyone... It was easier to do that now for some reason. His heart just seemed lighter and he was happier than he could have been should he have visited earlier in the year. And for that he was grateful.
It was tradition to get ice cream and so it didn't take long for him to walk on down to the old convenience store that they used to frequent. It was a bit lonely, going there by himself, but he supposed there was nothing to be done for it for now. Maybe next time he'd drag someone down here with him for a visit? It's possible! Kise liked to be optimistic of these things.
So imagine his surprise when he stepped into the old convenience store to see someone familiar there by the magazine racks.
"Oi, pretty boy. Get me this, will ya?"
"A-Aominecchi! Put that back! We'll get into trouble!"
"But her tits..."
"Aominecchi!" Smiling, waving, Kise was always happy to see this particular person.
who's the latest, it's me
He still lets himself be dragged out every time though. He's not even really sure why himself; maybe it's something to do with the warm feeling he gets in his chest when he thinks about how they're doing it as a team, how even though it's kind of annoying, he can't help but smile at his seniors' less-than-successful antics.
Not that any of that warm feeling has prevented him from needing to sneak away from the rest of the team and hide in an empty booth at the cafe before Moriyama-senpai's latest and most awful attempt at picking up one of the girls they're eating with really does make his head explode. As he sits slumped on the vinyl seat, one hand thrown over his eyes, he has plenty of time to contemplate just exactly how one person can be that bad with women. It's not like Moriyama-senpai's even that bad looking or anything! ]
guess who's even later
... though he mostly wishes to punch all of them when they're acting like idiots. He's going to have double their training next day for yet another embarrassing show.
Before he actually hits Moriyama for his stupidity, Kasamatsu decides to follow Kise's example and leave the table with some excuse of going to get some paper or something that might take long enough. He then just sits in the same booth as Kise (you can't hide from your captain, kid) and sighs heavily.]
He never learns...

Yeah, it's pretty amazing, if you think about it. I really didn't think someone could strike out that many times.

[ Compared to him, he means. Really, he's only doing Moriyama a favor by taking himself to somewhere the girls can't keep comparing their looks. Not that that'd had any influence on his half-hearted attempt at escape, but hey, it's not a terrible side effect or anything.
He glances over at the table long enough to see Moriyama strike out again, and sighs. And turns back to Kasamatsu, looking a lot more thoughtful. ]
You're not bad looking, either, senpai. Want some tips? I could show you how to go be their knight in shining armor, I bet they'd give you a date if you saved them.
no subject
No thanks. I'm not interested. [Too busy with school and basketball to care about girls.]
no subject
[ He sighs. His team is hopeless. Putting aside the problem of Kasamatsu freezing up whenever he's face to face with a member of the female species, he's the one besides Kise (okay, and Kobori-senpai, Kobori-senpai's normal enough not to scare girls away) that might actually have a chance at a love life. ]
I mean, you're definitely the type I'd go for if I was a girl.
no subject
Yeah, right. I think you've been looking at the wrong person.
no subject
[ He says it half just to see if he can get Kasamatsu's head to actually explode, but it's not like it's a lie. Kasamatsu's pretty handsome, and he's the captain of a national-level basketball team. Just because he's not aware of it doesn't mean that he doesn't have qualities that attract admirers. ]
You've got your own fan club at school, you know. It's not as big as mine, though.
[ He shrugs a little, careless and carefree, like what can you do. Of course no one's fan club would be as big as his. ]
no subject
[He had never heard of any fanclubs, so of course Kise must be kidding. Why would he get a fanclub... then again, that could explain some of the chocolates.]
I'm pretty sure if the whole team had a fanclub, we couldn't beat yours in numbers. Not even ours combined.
no subject
[ He's not gonna waste his time arguing about something that's obviously the truth. Just because Kasamatsu has a fan club doesn't mean it can rival Kise's in terms of sheer numbers of fanaticism. No one's dared to actually go up to Kasamatsu and ask him to sign anything yet. ]
But I'm definitely not playing. Kasamatsu-senpai's got quite a following!
no subject
Though seriously. Stop. You're making him embarrassed. It's hard to hide that when you hear it this much.]
How do you you know about that, anyway?
no subject
[ He may even have his own membership in the Kasamatsu Yukio fanclub, courtesy of one of said fans. He doesn't take it seriously, but it is pretty funny to him that he has an honorary position by default just because Kasamatsu's his team captain. ]
no subject
Ah, is that so.
[Awkwardness. Why are they talking about this...]
no subject
[ Luckily? for Kasamatsu, Kise's willing to steamroller right through his awkwardness. Mostly to make it more awkward. ]
They think you're cute. The whole serious and silent thing works for you.
[ Kise helpfully leaves off pointing out that that "serious and silent" image is mostly from how Kasamatsu's too scared of girls to ever talk to them. ]
