[You're going to have a part in today's episode of Little Utau's Adventures. But then again, you have a part in it every day.
Anyway! Today is a bit different. She finds him from their usual place outside as he's already putting his violin away. Oh, noooo, she's too late! Good thing she has other plans for them today. The girl walks to him and squeezes his shirt with her little fingers.
She pulls him towards the gate. Clearly she wants you to follow her... Somewhere.]
It was strange. She had heard their leader, Zelman, tell them that no one was to touch her. The only person he openly permissed to come near her was the woman Sayuka, but Adela still didn't know why. Not only that, but the occasional mistaken encounter caused her to learn that people were being brought in for whatever reason, and the screaming and moaning certainly didn't help her outlook on the whole thing.
It wasn't until it was quiet that she managed to sneak away from everyone else as, since she was unable to get a straight answer from Sayuka, she'd go to who she thought would answer her - Zelman. Which was why, once she found it, she opened the door to his room with no warning, "Zelman. I must speak with you."
It wouldn't have really mattered if Adela would have knocked or not. She would have still found the the same scene in front of her eyes: It looked as if Zelman was just kissing a girl's neck. The moans also gave the impression that this was something rather impure. Though if someone would look closer they'd notice that it wasn't really kissing, but Zelman having his fangs on the girls' neck.
There was no change in the scenario. The girl was too focused on feeling ecstatic and Zelman didn't care if someone walked in on his meal, no matter who it was. Well, Sayuka would be jealous and tell him it's no proper, but he didn't care about that either. The woman complained too much.
Zelman let go of the girl once he felt that he had had enough. Still shaken from the feelings, the girl fell on the floor and stayed there, panting a little. The vampire paid no attention to that, but instead looked over at the door.
Her breathing stopped and her heart skipped a beat. The moaning was no doubt sexual in nature, but seeing blood on his lips and the elongated teeth - along with the girl collapsing - it had her stunned, confused, almost fearful. She had never seen anything like it before.
Needlessly said she was immediately on edge, any questions she had dying on her lips as she just tried to take in what she was witnessing. Had he just... Was he...
He had just drank her blood.
At last Adela managed to swallow, finally forcing herself to move and stand up tall with the attempt to not let shock get to her. At last, she found her voice again, "What... What are you, Zelman?"
There was a certain risk in his way of not caring about who sees what he does. Some people didn't know about, or didn't believe in, vampires. This, however, wasn't really a problem for Zelman. You learn to deal with this kind of situations when you've lived for over eight hundred years.
"I guess you've never seen or heard of a vampire before, if you need to ask that", Zelman said as he sat down on one of the armchairs near the sofa. He then gestured at the sofa, implying that it would be alright for Adela to sit down as well. "That's what I am. I live by drinking blood, like you just saw."
There was little comfort or confidence in the way she moved, but she at least obeyed far enough to enter the room further and seat herself on the sofa. She was stiff, uncertain, and wary by that point, but at least it didn't seem as if Zelman was threatened by sharing the information. So far.
"I... See," She started, glancing briefly to the woman on the floor. She didn't appear to be dead, just unconscious and flushed. It caused Adela to flush a little herself when she returned her gaze to Zelman, hands firmly on her lap as she continued, "I had always thought a bite such as that would hurt far worse than it seems to have with that woman."
Zelman was amused by her reaction to the whole scene, but he kept a rather neutral smile on his face. "That seems to be the general assumption, yes. The reality is that our bite provides pleasure instead of pain." Convenient, as it made eating a lot easier and much more pleasant for the vampires as well. Not that Zelman was able to feel the pleasure himself, but moans were always better than screaming.
"I think someone said it felt better than sex, actually..."
An incubus...? Zelman stared at her with a confused expression for a moment before bursting into laughter. This was... really something completely new.
Excuse him, he will not be able to speak for a while.
She'll excuse him for laughing if he'll excuse her for staring. That really wasn't the reaction she was expecting at all, and if anything she was just more puzzled. What was so funny about what she said?
If anything she felt embarrassed, what if it was something stupid to say? It was hard, but she tried to wait out his laughing, even if she was starting to regret speaking at all...
It took him some time to calm down, but he continued to look amused even after finishing. Then he shook his head.
"I'm not anything like that. I'm only a vampire and nothing else." A pleasure creating vampire, but a vampire regardless. "You're the first one to actually call me an incubus..."
It took Adela a moment to speak again, one hand rubbing at her arm as she sighed and slumped a bit where she sat, "I suppose it is quite different... Though your bites cause that kind of pleasure, you do not feed off of it as an Incubus would. I was mistaken."
Okay that was enough embarrassment for one day... At least she knew what Zelman and, presumably, mostly everyone else there was. And why he said only Sayuka was allowed near her.
... Now she had to wonder just how many there would eye her as a meal, though...
"... Actually, that was what I wished to speak with you about. I was not getting any answers about what any of you were from other sources."
He might have been laughing, but she was less than amused over the whole thing. Seeing Zelman in the act was one way to find out, but even if she wouldn't readily admit it she did appreciate that he at least took the time to talk to her about it. But, now that she thought about it, they were alone and there was something that had bothered her, "Have you any questions for me?"
Did he have any questions? On the other hand, he didn't really care to ask, when he could just try to find out... but it might be faster to just ask directly. Especially after giving out information about himself... it would have been fair, right?
"Just this one, for now", he said after thinking about things in silence. "Are you a human?"
... She should have been expecting that. Still, there didn't seem to be harm in telling Zelman that about herself - seeing what he was, he likely had his own fair share of secrets to keep. It had to be a safe assumption to make, anyway.
"Half-blooded, but yes. My father was a human being."
It's not like Zelman had any reason to tell anything about her to anyone. He was the leader her and the others usually didn't bother with the place. So her secrets would be safe with him.
"I see. I did get the feeling you aren't quite... well, normal, if you don't mind me saying", he wasn't really sure what the proper wording would have been. "Vampire instincts, I guess."
"I am surprised such an answer is suffice," She raised a brow, clearly confused at why she wasn't getting pressed more. 'Not human' could be a great number of things, as she definitely learned then and there. He had to know it as well, didn't he?
Then again, this was the first she had ever heard of beings other than Incubi and Succubi interfering in the affairs of mortal man. Perhaps he was not aware of any beings who would beyond vampires... There was only one way to be sure.
That was certainly interesting. He hadn't really met a mage before, just people with similar skills. To be honest, his skills with fire could probably be seen as mage's doing.
"I see. I look forward to seeing what you can do, if I ever have a chance."
It seemed like their conversation was coming to a close then, so she took it upon herself to get to her feet and nod to him, "I thank you, for telling me. It answers a lot about what I had not known here."
Adela didn't wait for an answer however, bowing just slightly before making her way to the door. There were still so many questions she had about vampires, but it felt like enough for now. There was comfort in knowing that Zelman would at least try to answer her, and that... Even in this strange new world, she had at least one she could name as an ally.
BFF! ...the blue haired one, though I might want to play with Homura too :x
[It's a sleepover / babysitting night at the Kaname house! Her parents went somewhere to spend some time together on their own, so Madoka is responsible for her brother and their home.
But of course it wouldn't be that much fun alone, so she invited Sayaka over. That way it wouldn't even be scary at night.
She smiles as she watches Tatsuya falling asleep after a bedtime story or two. It's still early, but the baby is four and she's been playing with him all day long to get him to sleep as early as possible.
Once she's sure that he's asleep, she sneaks away from the room with Sayaka.]
Ehehe, that was easy. But thank you [for coming to a sleepover, obviously?], it would be a bit boring from now on, if you weren't here.
Eheheh, life's never boring with you. [...but they should get something to do.]
What would you like to do? Watch a movie, sing karaoke, play games, bake something or make food, take pictures or videos...? The list could go on and on! [pillow fight to be added to it later, maybe.]

How about we sing karaoke and make some food at least? I brought some snacks for dessert.
