[It was all going well until a bird hit Flare in the face.

In an attempt to get his trusty dragon some exercise, Riku was planning to fly from Ecruteak to Cherrygrove and back, but, well... swarms of random robins? Not ideal for flight, so on his way over Violet, he and his partner made a sudden crash landing.

Right outside the Sprout Tower.

Now the two are shakily getting back on their feet, wobbling to and fro. It's kind of an awkward sight, really. Especially when one of them is a six-foot human tree and the other is a giant orange reptile. With his head still spinning 'round and 'round, he turns to the nearest person near by, not quite recognizing that spiky mess of hair... at least it looks like hair. He's too dizzy to tell right now.]

Ugh... don't tell me we're in Violet again.

[Well that certainly was a show. Axel hadn't really seen what happened up in the air - he was too busy getting out of the way before a dragon would crash into him.

Huh. This guy looked awfully like Riku. The real one, not the replica. Though something about him was a bit different... was he this tall last time? Oh well, he'd heard this place was a mess and he shouldn't even try to understand.]

Well, that's I arrived to today - unless I was lied to. [He shrugs with a carefree smile on his face.]

Didn' know Pokémon could crash like that, though. Thanks for the real life presentation so I won' make the same mistake, Riku.

[...Wait a sec.

Riku's eyes narrow, and his hands drop to his hips. He takes a step closer, looking Axel up and down.]

...Okay, how do you know my name?

[Something's a bit fishy, even if this guy looks vaguely familiar. Lea, maybe? But he's older, and he's got some goofy tattoos under his eyes.]

Oh, right, I guess we haven' really been introduced like this.

[He never really did meet Riku in Castle Oblivion. It was always the Replica. He only got his ass kicked by Sora...]

The name's Axel. Got it memorized?

Well, it's kinda hard to forget a name like that.

[He shrugs and... hmm, wait a sec. Didn't Xion name her Typholosion aftr him once? And now that he's gotten a closer look...]

You Lea's older brother or something?

[Granted, he never got too close to Lea, but there's definitely some familiarity.]

[Well that's a name he didn't expect to hear from this guys.]

How do you know about Lea?

He was here a few years back. Didn't get to know him that well, but you look just like him if he gained about a foot and slapped tattoos on his face.

[And then there's the voice... It's way too uncanny to be a coincidence.]

[Oh, so that's how it was.]

Then they also added a letter to the name, made a mess of it and tadaa - you get me. Get it?

[Not really saying it out loud, but it's not like he has any reason to hide it. Not in a place like this.]

[Waaait, hold on. Squinting, Riku looks down at the ground and rubs his chin. L E A and an extra letter.

Xion knows someone named Axel. L E A + X, scramle it around, and you get--]

Axel. That's your name now, isn't it?

That's what I said earlier, didn't I?

I'm the same as Lea, but I'm not the same one who was here before cause I can't remember ever being in this place. Sorry about that, if you were friends.

[Riku shrugs.]

I'm used to it by now. You should've seen how many times Sora left...

[What was it? Four? Five times? Whatever the case, it's nothing new to him.]

... Sora, huh.

[Wherever he went, Sora was the topic there, huh? That was kinda creepy.]

Are there others you know from our world over here?

Hmm... Well, there's Kairi, Xion, and Demyx. Xemnas was here a while back, but it's been almost a year since he left.

[Along with Terra... And just when Riku'd been hoping to catch up with him.]

That's plenty of familiar names... well, I've only heard a thing or two about Kairi, but others.

[It was hard to imagine Xemnas in a Pokémon world though.] I bet Demyx is already being a lazy ass.

[It was a sunny, happy day, and a certain Princess of Heart was taking her Staryu for a walk.

She quietly strolled from tree to tree, her hands behind her back and a gentle hum on her lips. The Staryu spun, floating in the air. He was on patrol. You never know when someone, or something would strike out at her darling princess.

Kairi had tried to get him to open up more to people, but he was never one to trust strangers.]

[And not too far after her comes Xion, trying to catch up to her "twin." Pluto, her Furfrou, bounds on ahead of the whole party, sniffing out potential danger ahead just like Kairi's Staryu.

She stops when she thinks she sees a flash of something familiar to her...then runs to catch up to Kairi again.]

[Axel's pretty sure he saw someone familiar. What's weird was that there were two of them? But it didn't make sense since she didn't have a somebody, right...?

Well, you only live once and so on - time to call out.]

Xion?

[That's definitely a voice familiar to her. But it can't be, he shouldn't know her name, he shouldn't be here. Xion halts (somewhere in the back of her mind a voice says that now everyone will go ahead of her) and shakily turns to the direction the voice came from.

It's him, she'd recognize that hair and ludicrous height anywhere.]

Axel...?

[That definitely was Xion. He thought he wouldn't see her or Roxas again... yet there she was. Wow, this place was really something.

He's not one to look all depressed or serious so he'll throw a carefree attitude on. Ha... still felt weird to talk about emotions and actually have them.]

Bingo. It's been a while, Xion.
